Bug Description
This is a feature-request and not really a bug, but I hope it's OK to store it here.
It would be nice to have a command-line interface for the functionality of mound-data-manager. One reason for this could be to include mound-data-manager into a backup script.
This would make much more sense if there would be the functionality to group applications and take a snapshot of the whole group.

I agree, this would be useful. It would require splitting out some parts of the m-d-m core into a different package, but it's doable.
