Bug Description

After starting the ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix an indicatormessage appears which said "capacity is at 1.9% - battery damaged?".
But after this the battery-icon shows up and the correct capacity is shown up there.

Possible the time is too short after start the service and displaying the message. Perhaps the information is not availabe at startup time and a short delay should be implemented.

I have the ASUS eeePC 701 4G, but not with the original battery it has a much greater capacity (6h).

note I had this issue on my eee-pc 701 with karmic netbook remix, and still now with the freshly released 10.04 UNR (issue with 'gnome-power-manager' wrongly reading left capacity in eee-pc battery, and triggering annoying pop up at boot : just 1.9% capacity left...)
