Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
When I start a Video or Music File with Totem I would like Rhythmbox to detect this and stop playing. This could easily be done via dbus.

not a good idea, that's one of the features that people seems to really like about the desktop in general, being able to listen an ogg file and see that video a friend sent to them with totem at the same time or even just lowering the volume of one application rather than stop all the audio applications and just leave the one who is grabbing the focus active, wontfix from the downstream task but you can always send the report upstream to bugzilla.gnome.org. thanks.
