Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I have a global setting of UK English chosen at install.

This works fine for me... the installer. I have a 2nd system user (my wife) and her keyboard always has US English layout.

I tried swapping in her System > Preferences > Keyboard but both US and UK English have the same result... always US English.

This is a pain because apart from swapping the @ & " symbols, the Alt Gr functions have vanished with the US keyboard

regards

Aaron

Ok I found the issue:

The logon screen defaults to US English for every additional user.

Just need to change that one time.

However as the global setting at software install was UK English it should remain so for all users unless specifically requested within that users settings

cheers

Aaron
