Thanks for your report, could you get a brasero log? please run brasero as: brasero --brasero-media-debug &> brasero-debug.txt ; perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach that resulting log file to the report, thanks.

I'm getting this issue when attempting to burn an audio CD. Brasero loads the playlist fine, but when I go to burn a disc it kicks the "The disc in "CD/DVD Drive" cannot be ejected. An unknown error occured" issue.

Platform is Lucid AMD64. The CD burner and blank disc are visible to the system, and GnomeBaker can successfully burn a disc.

Using Brasero 2.32.0 / Ubuntu 10.10
External DVD Writer Model SE-S204 (Samsung WriteMaster) on usb

Got the same problem burning a CD from data on my HD

Select data to burn (single directory with JPEG photos)
about 500Mb of data on a 700Mb CD-R
Brasero says :
Burning CD --> 100% reached
Says "Burn Success"
Then says "Computing checksum for images" --> 100% reached
Says disk ejection ... But also says it cannot eject the disk
Manual ejection
The only solution is to click "Cancel" on the dialog box "Please eject manually..."

The Burned CD has a file list but images cannot be read

Tried to catch a log :
ludovic@4461w0j-laptop:~$ brasero --brasero-media-debug &> brasero-debug.txt
Immediatly after :
ludovic@4461w0j-laptop:~$ cat brasero-debug.txt
(brasero:5782): Unique-DBus-WARNING **: Error while sending message: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
Retry:
ludovic@4461w0j-laptop:~$ brasero --brasero-media-debug &> brasero-debug.txt
Erreur de segmentation

OOps going to reboot... and test again to get

well brasero ? 100% OK or some corrupted files
gona try a an other dvd writer to ensure this is a not a hard failure

System:

Dell laptop slot in burner, Maverick amd64.

Same error here with a data-cd. Few Mp3s with a total of 306 MB should be burned.
Brasero also shortened the filenames to be compatible with windows.

Speed was 10x and 24x, same results.
Validation fails and it says that it could not eject. I should do so manually.

After re-inserting the cd it shows the complete filelist but none of the files work with any player. (No music played)

I do not want to waste another cd unless you tell me to get some more logs ;-)

1. I got the same problem when trying to eject disk (Optiarc DVD RW AD-7200A)... see attached log.

2. It's not possible to burn any CD-R correctly - getting the same "files might be corrupted" error everytime...

I'm sure It's not HW problem, drive is working fine in other systems.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Oneiric Ocelot.
