Bug Description

during upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10 an error occured during the upgrade from devmapper (at least this package was reported)

The upgrade failed and left the package-tree in an inconsitent state. I was able to fix the package tree by manually installing libpam-modules and base-files (sudo dpkg --install /var/cache/apt/archives/libpam-modules_1.1.0-2ubuntu1_i386.deb /var/cache/apt/archives/base-files_5.0.0ubuntu7_i386.deb) and performing an sudo aptitude full-upgrade afterwards
