Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

X crashes when working with the Eagle PCB routing tool by cadsoft (http://www.cadsoft.de). I haven't found a simple way to reproduce the crash, as it often happens after a long period of working with the application.

I updated to more current versions of intel/libdrm/mesa etc. in the xorg-edgers ppa in the hope that the bug has already been fixed upstream, but it's still there.

I think this could be related to bug 415357 because it has a similar backtrace.

This issue was reported against karmic, so can you confirm if this issue exists with the most recent Lucid Lynx 10.04 Alpha release? ISO CD images are available at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid/ . Thanks in advance.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
