Gnome Do won't auto start in Ubuntu 9.10

When I try to run it from the terminal I get the following:

Please run from a terminal with '--debug' flag and post the output here.

It looks to me likes its running just fine. In fact if you look at the log it does a reload 2 minutes later, so it definitely ran for 2 minutes!

I think perhaps you dont know how to summon. You have to type the '<super>+space' keys (super is also known as the windows key on many keyboards). This should bring up the Do window.

If you are having troubles summoning (perhaps its bound to another key), you can still verify Do is running by opening a second terminal and running 'gnome-do'. This should summon the window in the original instance and then terminate the new instance!

Shame on me...

As you say gnome-do is running correctly. I was expecting Docky to come up automatically (since I had it configured this way), but Do conf was set to default.

@Tim: this bug is invalid. Please search and see if your specific bug is already reported and if not, report it as a new bug.

Also note that there is 0.8.3.1 released but this is not in the Ubuntu repos. Thus, if you are not running 0.8.3.1 you need to file the bug against the *package* in Ubuntu and not the project itself. If you are indeed running 0.8.3.1 and experiencing problems, please file against the project.
