Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
In Gnome when I click on the Update manager and if my laptop is not connected to the mains - thus powered from the battery I keep on getting a pop-up window: Running on battery. Your system is running on battery. Are you sure you want to continue.
I am quite confident in my battery supply and I want to turn this pop-up off.
There is nothing in Settings for the Update manager.
There should be an option in gconf-editor to remove it.
Other bugs seem to refer to the logic behind the warning.

totally agree with this requirement, would be nice if exists an option to disabled this message when you are not connected to AC.
