Bug Description
Binary package hint: acroread
1. I install acroread from the Canonical partner repository.
> It asks me if I wanted to make it the default viewer for PDF files.
2. I answer in the affirmative.
3. I delete the "Adobe Reader 9" launcher from the Office menu because I will never use it.
4. Suddenly the file association for PDF files is gone, and Adobe Reader is not in the "Open With" dialog box when I go to add it back. I can add acroread by commandline, but this looks ugly and lacks the icon, so I consider it a workaround rather than a fix.
Reinstalling acroread does not rerun the post-installation scripts; dpkg-reconfigure asks me the question about default viewer, but appears to do nothing no matter whether I answer yes or no.
