Bug Description

Binary package hint: apt

will be very useful if apt would let an automatic uninstallation , like an "undo" of all the operations of installation/upgrade, with large number of packages, when the space of the root partition ended during the operations. This will help the user to chose what to do, like software/packages unistallation with the same apt.
