Bug Description

Dapper Drake 6.06

The default firmware that loads for the card is the incorrect one.

This is the default firmware file:

7026826460376f6b174f9225bd7781b9 tiacx111c16.original

This is the correct firmware file copied from my windows drivers that seems to work properly with the card.

35b3b82f079205493ce6cda46b2d3d29 tiacx111c16

It seems to be the same one that is loaded in the version 1.2.0.30 directory:

dean@ubuntu-slappy:/lib/firmware/2.6.15-23-386/acx$ md5sum 1.2.0.30/tiacx111c16
35b3b82f079205493ce6cda46b2d3d29 1.2.0.30/tiacx111c16

Here is the lspci info that will be useful:

Launchpad Janitor (janitor) wrote : This bug is now reported against the 'linux' package

Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle, all open Ubuntu kernel bugs need to be reported against the "linux" kernel package. We are automatically migrating this linux-source-2.6.15 kernel bug to the new "linux" package. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition. Also, if you would be interested in testing the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release, it is available at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing . Please let us know your results. Thanks!
