Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04. My printer is HP Photosmart C4180 All-in-One. My Evince version is 2.26.1. If I download a PDF from the Web and try to print the first four page of it (e.g.) like that: 1,3 and later 2,4 only the first two are printed as for the second two I receive an error message (and I can get round of that only by means of the HP Device Manager which has its own similar printing command).

Alberto, thank you for taking the time to report this bug. I would like for you to test something for me. Do you experience the same behavior if you try something similar using a document in Open Office? Also, could you try the same thing using another PDF viewer like okular?

To WeatherGod,
With OpenOffice the print process works all right. The same with Okular. However take into account that with Okular you cannot specify the pages you want, separating them by a comma but only specify either all the document or a range of pages (from page ... to page ...)
Best Regards,
Alberto

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of Evince is available in both Lucid and Maverick and we are wondering if this is still reproducible in any of those versions, May you please test and give us of feedback about it? Thanks in advance.
