Bug Description

I have no installed version of mysql meta package and mysql-server-core-5.1 which is needed by some kde services.

root@novopad:~# sudo apt-cache policy mysql-server-core-5.1
mysql-server-core-5.1:
  Zainstalowana: 5.1.37-1ubuntu5
  Kandydująca: 5.1.37-1ubuntu5
  Tabela wersji:
 *** 5.1.37-1ubuntu5 0
        500 http://pl.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
root@novopad:~# sudo apt-cache policy mysql-server-5.1
mysql-server-5.1:
  Zainstalowana: (brak)
  Kandydująca: 5.1.37-1ubuntu5
  Tabela wersji:
     5.1.37-1ubuntu5 0
        500 http://pl.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
root@novopad:~#

Mysql fails to start since karmic update, while trying to manually
sudo /etc/init.d/mysql start
it tries few second and return [fail]
After that I see in daemons.log:
Nov 14 11:10:54 novopad /etc/init.d/mysql[21974]: 0 processes alive and '/usr/bin/mysqladmin --defaults-file=/etc/mysql/debian.cnf ping' resulted in
Nov 14 11:10:54 novopad /etc/init.d/mysql[21974]: /etc/init.d/mysql: line 75: /usr/bin/mysqladmin: No such file or directory
Nov 14 11:10:54 novopad /etc/init.d/mysql[21974]:

Apt-doesn't return any unmet dependencies, so shouldn't mysql-server-core depends on something with mysqladmin or is this really needed ?
