Bug Description
Using Ubuntu 6.06. From Gnome, Went to Places > Connect to Server... > FTP (with login). Successfully authenticated into my FreeBSD 6.0 box on the network. Could browse directories fine, could upload some files but could not create and rename a directory. Only could create "untitled folder", but could not rename it. First guess is that FreeBSD uses different method to rename files than Linux. Doesn't seem to be an auth issue, I can SSH or Telnet into FreeBSD and run pretty much any command with the same login I'm using for FTP.
Also tried using the FireFTP plugin in Firefox, same result. Went to rename the directory, but could not. No specific error message other than "Could not rename directory".
When using Filezilla in Windows, I can successfully login to FreeBSD and run all standard FTP commands.
