Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility

The beauty of palimpsest is, that it creates storage space like there was no tomorrow.
Just see my attached screenshot: A 640 GB WD disk unfolds an almost unreasonable number of partitions, that add up well beyond the 640 GB, only in the primary / extended region (312+172+43+425 = 952 GB); plus 21+26+32+326+172+172+172+172+1.1+4.4+8.6+4.3 = 1111.4GB in the extended partition of 425GB.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of Gnome Disk Utility is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.
