Same computer keeps re-registering for ubuntu one

Bug Description
I found that there is a problem with the registration of computers. In particular UbuntuOne wants to keep re registering the same computer over and over.
When UbuntuOne first started I ran it on 9.04 and everything ran smoothly for a while. Then something changed when 9.10 was released. Anyway I figured that out and reinstalled UbuntuOne to the latest release.
I discovered the logging problem last week but choose not to report it because, I thought it was part of the old build. So I blew away the five login registrations.
Today I logged onto the machine and saw a red ! mark. I had to shut UbuntuOne down and rerun it. Which prompted the re adding of the machine. This is dumb why does the machine have to be re-registered after I have added it.
