This bug is also present in 11.04. Quite a big deal in my humble opinion as the installer lists Jokosher as one of the top applications to install....

The software center. It makes Jokosher one of the first apps to be seen, because it's been added to the "featured applications" list.

I think I may have a handle on this problem now as I've finally been able to reproduce it on one of my machines. It seems to relate to projects recorded using Flac (which is the default now). Could anyone experiencing this bug please try the following:

 * Start Jokosher as normal
 * Create a new project
 * Go to Edit -> Preferences
 * Change "Recording Format" from "Flac" to "Ogg Vorbis"
 * Record something
 * Try playing it back

And let me know if the error still occurs for you.

Changed in jokosher:
milestone: none → 0.12

This should be fixed with GStreamer 1.0, along with fixes for Ogg Vorbis support in recent versions of GStreamer 0.10. However it won't be possible to run Jokosher against GStreamer 1.0 until the PyGI branch is completed.

I think I have the same error, not quite sure. I see the following:

    GStreamer encountered a general stream error.
    If this problem persists consider reporting a bug using the link in the help menu

And it occurs when I try to replay anything I saved. It looks like the recording worked OK, but I cannot verify since I cannot replay it.
