Bug Description

After running do-release-upgrade in 9.04 to upgrade to 9.10, there is an error with instructions to finish filing this as a bug manually:

Errors were encountered while processing:
 python-serial
Exception during pm.DoInstall(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
