Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
On Ubuntu 9.10 64bit: I moved a modified .rtf document (with a couple of other files) over an existing file in the Ubuntu One directory and allowed the overwrite. Now my only version of the .rtf file was the one in Ubuntu One. Syncing started and most of the files disappeared in Nautilus. After a while the files reappeared and the sync was done. When I opened the .rtf file it was the old version! All my changes had been lost! Forever.

Hi Arno,
thank you very much for your report. I'm sorry Ubuntu One is not working as expected for you.
I'd need you to activate DEBUG mode on the Ubuntu One logs and attach those to help us find the problem. In order to do so, please:
1. stop the syncdaemon client and be sure it's fully stopped ("ps -eaf | grep ubuntuone-client" should give you nothing).
2. put a file named syncdaemon.conf in your $HOME/. config/ ubuntuone directory with the following information:
[__main__]
log_level = DEBUG
3. restart the client.
4. attach here the logs, just zip you $HOME/. cache/ubuntuone /log/ folder and attach the zip here.
Thanks!
