Bug Description
I was pretty happy with the old no longer maintained Dilbert comic applet. I'm using comics! and have some trouble, and when I complained about it in a forum here, Mark Lee suggested I formalize this as a bug. (https:/
I'm running this version of awn in Ubuntu 9.10
0.3.9.1~
The comics! applet does let me read dilbert. However, I can't see any of the other comic strips. I've tested the "add" function and added an address for a new comic, such as:
http://
Here's the part I can't figure out, though. I can add a feed and in the add panel, it does show the wizard of id comic of the day. It offers me two identical comic strips, actually, and offers me a choice between them. However, upon closing the configure tool, the wizard comic won't show. I just see comics! in the bubble.
I understand that Dilbert comic is no longer maintained and I truly appreciate the effort to provide comics!. I do not in any way want to be seen as critical. If the person who works on comics! can fix that, I think it would be more fun.
A couple of other features from the previous comic applet would be good. There was a handy thing where you could right click to choose the date of the comic to display and also it would prompt the applet to go and get it. Also, in that previous version, the comic would display in a slightly larger format. In comics!, I can expand the image, but it becomes blurry. It seems to me that comic used to actually download a larger pixmap from the source.
Well, so long, and thanks for all the fish.

@pauljohn32: wiki.awn- project. org/OmnibusBugR eportPolicy>). If you could put your feature requests (at the end of your description) in separate bugs, that would be great.
We have a policy of only having one issue per bug (as noted in the bug guidelines, which is a link to the wiki <http://
