Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub2
I selected in /etc/default/grub the option GRUB_DEFAULT=saved so that the grub menu will automatically select the last menu entry that have succesfully booted. After doing an update-grub, the option doesn't work, the first menu entry (#0) is always selected by default.
For information, I have a separate partion for /boot.

Thanks. Since you have a separate /boot, I'm pretty sure that this is a consequence of bug 478035.
