Bug Description

Binary package hint: adept

When installing Sun's java 5 JRE (using Multiverse), the user is prompted to acknowledge the license agreement with ENTER (a terminal-like window appears inside the Adept installer window - YOU HAVE TO CLICK ON DETAILS BUTTON TO ACTUALLY SEE THIS!). However, there is no keyboard response whatsoever. Clickin with the mouse on the terminal OK button also gives no result.

You end up quitting the installation, without being able to complete the installation.

FATAL problem:
Starting up Adept subsequently, you are being prompted that another Adapt or Aptitude) is running - this is not the case.

You have a dead lock situation, where an end user with no knowledge of how to clear the partial install needs to reinstall Kubuntu.

----

The only way to install sun java is to use the command line apt-get install, where it is possible to use the ENTER key.

Hmm,

I cannot find anywhere to assign this bug to Kubuntu Dapper release, where it belongs.
