man page for 0.3.x

we need a man page for 0.3.x. Ideally, this would be generated during make's compile phase based on the same source as exaile --help.

You can use help2man for that, but it may be better to just do it ourselves and add the man to the tarball so people don't need it to generate the man.

Well, we have a tendency to forget to update things like this if they aren't auto-generated, so I think generating it during make is the better solution for our case.

What about during make dist / distcheck?

doing it during make dist means that those who do a bzr checkout then make install would not receive a manpage.

Fixed, but ugh... why does --version output ascii art? I had to use sed to get the actual version.
