Bug Description
Binary package hint: virt-manager
Under karmic using pulse-audio and virt-manager/kvm at the same time is nigh on impossible.
Rules of engagement:
1. If there are no applications using P-A then you get sound in the vm
2. If you then open an app that uses P-A it produces no sound or simply doesn't start if vm is started before the app
3. If there are apps using P-A before vm is started then there is no sound from vm
This becomes really frustrating if you you need to run an audio test on a vm machine and a real machine to find the breakage for example. It also seems like a poor choice in default vm if it isn't going to play nice with an installed system.
