Can not install Dapper 6.06 due to install stopping with:

[4294680.175000] ata2: BUG: timeout without command

My Hard Drive is a Seagate ST380013AS. I attempted the boot options for the Seagate as described in the install help. This did not work. Also tried noapic nolapic with no success.
