Bug Description

Ubuntu karmic Koala 9.10 (Gnome)
Installed via apt-get/synaptic under official Ubuntu repositories
Version Avant 0.3.2.1
Window Manager: Compiz and Metacity, the problem happened on both.
Video Card Nvidia Geforce 6150, integrated to the motherboard

The problem occurs somewhat randomly, I haven't associated it to any particular event.
Sometimes when I activate full screen video playback on programs like SmPlayer and VLC Player, the auto hide function doesn't automatically work; so, I click the screen and the dock goes away but when I exit full screen, and I click it, the dock disappears and does not reappear when I mouse over the bottom of the screen. Then, I have to go the desktop, where I'm able to left click it, to close it and reopen it, when it works fine.

Could you please try the version in our testing PPA? The instructions for installation are at our wiki:
