Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-games

Using ubuntu 9.10 1:2.28.0 the game should show play screen consistantly, but upon loading shows desktop. when a new game is started the game screen appears, but then disappears for a few seconds every time a piece moves.

Maybe this issue is related to compiz or graphic driver, any way, please could you check if this issue is still affecting under latest release included in Ubuntu Lucid? Thanks!

In ubuntu 9.10 I had compiz running, now in 10.04 I don't and the problems disappeared. Therefore it was either being caused by compiz (most likely) or by an older version of the program. I'll try running compiz and seeing if the bug reappears.
