Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg
The LiveCD dumps me into a 1024x768@60Hz X session, and my eyes are hurting ... Screen-
This is on the amd64 version of the final Dapper LiveCD, with an ATI X800 Pro:
0000:05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc R420 JI [Radeon X800PRO]
Regarding some speculation about xresprobe and/or Horiz- / VertRefresh lines - the xserver will probe the correct resolution on its own, if the ddc extension is loaded, no Horiz- or VertRefresh given, and higher resolutions than 1024x768 are in the conf file.
