Description of why ubuntu changes are dropped:
I have adopted the packaged, and accepted all ubuntu changes
Why sync with unstable:
Since it is non-free, it will not migrate to testing normally until a DD uploads both i386 and am64 (which no one has done yet).

builds in pbuilder in karmic, and lucid. I installed the Lucid package, it works properly. This also will fix: /bugs.launchpad .net/bugs/ 475891

Also, this is almost entirely a sync with debian (they accepted our changes). The only remaining change is: bugs.debian. org/cgi- bin/bugreport. cgi?bug= 521746
