The error shown in the exceptions logs is from a known bug, but that wont delete files. Im assigning this bug to facundo, he can mark as duplicate for the original bug (i cant find it).
If you want us to better understand what happened with your installation of ubuntuone, please upload your syncdaemon.log file (found in ~/cache/ ubuntuone/ log/ )
