Bug Description
Today, while trying to install Kubuntu 9.10 on a machine at an Install Party, we found that the installer produced several "Unable to read block ..." messages.
I just realized that this message has no mean to the user because it was not enough to allow him to infer that probably either the CD was damaged or the optical drive was damaged.
I think the message should be something like "The CD is damaged or the CD player is damaged".
I don't know to which package this feature belongs to.

This message is not, as far as I can see, generated directly by the installer. In order to figure out where it came from, we need the *full* *unedited* text of the error message. Thanks in advance.
