Bug Description

Karmic has the package liberis-1.3-14, which, strangly, has got the version 1.3.13-2ubuntu1. This makes no sense.

Furthermore, liberis 1.3.14 is required for compiling the latest version of the WorldForge client Ember, and therefore it has no use to include this now slightly outdate version.

However, I do admit that it's very hard to upgrade this library now Karmic has been released. However, it could be added to the backports, a sync for Lucid is already being requested here: bug #477997.

This comes from how upstream versioned the library and how this maps to package names in Debian/Ubuntu.
The library is named liberis-1.3 and its so-version is 14 => liberis-1.3.so.14 and the package name for it is then liberis-1.3-14.
The version of the library doesn't have to match the release version.
