Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth
Gnome-bluetooth 2.28.1-0Ubuntu2 in Karmic does not support DUN-support for nm-applet. It finds the mobile phone, but does not offer using it to connect to the internet.
DUN support works by using Blueman instead.

I have the same problem here.
I have a n97, and I just can't use it as a modem if I'm using gnome-bluetooth.
Blueman works as expected.
As gnome-bluetooth is the default option available on karmic, I see that as a HUGE usability problem.
