Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Since I upgraded from jaunty to markic, I can't save any more to ntfs partitions (I cold with jaunty on the same computer) when using firefox (3.5.4 right now).
Using file managers (nautilus or krusader) everything works fine.
Other browsers save on the same ntfs with no problem (epiphany, chrome, etc.)

it seems similar to me that this old bug report (same behavior, it seemed, but on fat32 partitions):

"apparmor profile"... sorry, I don't get how should I proceed for that.
I attempted to fill a bg report through clicking to the menu in firefox: "Help > Report a bug"(or similar, just translated from local lang), but it did nothing to me.

How can I provide more information about this bug?

Ok, after upgrade of karmic, I got firefox to be able to report a problem from the menu, and thus, attaching many files to the report.
The new (duplicated) bug report is here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.5/+bug/479224

One of them can be marked as duplicate of the other...

Changed in firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → Invalid
