I would... did a search. but can't find the log file.

Also, on my other computer x64 bit version of ubuntu 9.10 says that my computer has a newer version of Ubuntu One and the server needs an upgrade? Again, the address book in Evolution mail works fine, but can't get the file upload to work.

Found this? does this relate?

Ubuntu One client requires post-install upgrade

A serious bug in the Ubuntu One client software included in Ubuntu 9.10 that could potentially result in loss of data has led to disabling file syncing access for this client version on the Ubuntu One servers as a precaution. Users who see a "Capabilities Mismatch" error when trying to use Ubuntu One should install the post-release upgrade of the client that will be made available immediately after release, fixing the original bug and restoring file syncing access to the Ubuntu One servers. Files are still available via the web interface at http://one.ubuntu.com.

Contact syncing and tomboy syncing services are not affected by this issue.

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Fortunately, I think there is a workaround for this problem as I believe it's related to bug 455544 which occurs when the bandwidth preferences are set too low (or to the defaults). If you delete ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf and restart the Ubuntu One client, you should be able to connect.

Thank you,

Joshua
