Eclipse often crashes with SIGSEGV signal

Bug Description

I've just formatted my hard disk, installed a fresh Ubuntu 9.10, then installed Eclipse with a simple "apt-get install eclipse". But I can't use it, it's always crashing! Sometimes when I create a new project, sometimes when I save a preferences in the option menu, etc...

This is the error:
