Adding VCS/ICS attachment to calendar causes Evolution to hang

I use IMAP email.

When an email comes in with a VCS/ICS attachment (such as a flight booking confirmation, which has a calendar file attached), Evolution shows this as:

"An unknown person has published the following meeting information:"

Then some options to select the calendar (I selected a Google Calendar I access through Evolution)
And the option to inherit the reminder and to accept the meeting request.

I click to ACCEPT the request and Evolution freezes. I can kill the app but can't start it again without restarting the computer.
This happens every time I try to do this.
