Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcc-4.4

In 8.04 libg2c is installed with the gfortran package. This doesn't happen in 9.10 and I'm unable to find another package to install this library.

libg2c was never installed with the gfortran package, it was built from gcc-3.4 which is now removed.

Thanks for your reply.

So am I right in thinking libg2c is depreciated and that I should use libf2c instead?

no, you should use gfortran and libgfortran3

gfortran and libgfortran3 are installed but they do not contain libg2c. I have code which has libg2c as a dependancy, which package contains this, if any?

none. you should rebuild your code, or manually install the package from an older release
