Everytime I try to install the system, ubuntu-installer crashes with the message above.

I tried it three times, but installation is not possible.

PS.: My System-Information:

Samsung X20 1730 V - Laptop, all standard, no further hardware-modifications.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 46764, and should at the very least explode less spectacularly in the final Dapper release. As a workaround, use a non-XFS root filesystem, or create a non-XFS /boot filesystem; grub doesn't cope reliably with being installed to XFS on many systems.
