My Belkin F8T016 usb bluetooth dongle does not show up as a bluetooth device in Karmic Koala (9.10) 64bit.
Ubuntu: 9.10 64bit

All I get is this:

Not sure why it is showing up as broadcom and not a belkin. I read that there is another hidden usb device that is the bluetooth adapter itself... is this possible?
I was hoping Karmic would fix this problem, but no such luck.
What I expect to happen is that
- it is recognized as a bluetooth device when I plug it in under System > Preferences > Bluetooth and
- when I type lsusb -v that it shows up as a bluetooth device as well.
Please help!
Thank You.
Lu
Maybe this is fixed in xorg-server 1.9.1 - see http:// lists.freedeskt op.org/ archives/ xorg-announce/ 2010-October/ 001438. html
