python files (.py) won't open properly using idle-python2.6

Bug Description
I'm using the latest Gnome DO, and I noticed that when i search the .py file from my laptop and try to open it with idle-python2.6 (commands: search file.py -> tab -> open with... -> tab -> idle-python2.6), only the python shell opens, but not the .py file at all as it should. By this I mean that it should open both the shell and the file in the python's own text editor.
It works properly with nautilus -> right-click -> open with -> idle-python2.6 but Gnome DO lacks this compatibility.
