Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic.
With network manager from PPA with fixed bug #432205 there is another bug with dsl connections.
Way to reproduce:
1) install network-manager from ppa https:/
2) create dsl connection with network manager someusername/
3) try to change(or connect) this dsl connection with dsl-connection-
you take "system policy prevents modification of system settings" window with password promt and editor inicialisation error window with "Insufficient privileges." and close button.
in console:
bmw@bmw-desktop:~$ nm-connection-
(nm-connection-
after entering password window with "Insufficient privileges." active and push "close" causes nm-connection-
full nm-connection-
I can confirm this, I can only connect to a DSL connection with "all users" unchecked.
