Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Using firefox 1.0.8-0ubuntu5 on the Dapper Drake release candidate (updated as of 20060530T2045Z), when the URL-completion dropdown for the main URL bar is displayed with potential completions, keyboard input of characters into the URL bar is not accepted. If no partial-match completions are visible, keyboard input proceeds as expected.
To reproduce:
1) Visit, e.g., www.google.com
2) Open a new tab
3) In the new tab, attempt to enter, e.g., www.amazon.com into the main URL bar
Expected results:
www.amazon.com can be entered normally, with the completion string containing www.google.com being displayed until the first 'a' of amazon is entered.
Actual results:
Once the initial 'w' is entered, further characters may be accepted only by clicking the mouse on the text entry before typing each character, until www.a has been entered, disambiguating the new URL from existing history.

The version number above is incorrect, pulled from the wrong system -- it should read 1.5.dfsg+ 1.5.0.3- 0ubuntu3. This problem persists after 6.06 release.
