Bug Description

The video shown playing DVDs/other video files is "washed out" - contrast bad, and whites seem too white. The effect is easily seen by taking a screenshot - the screenshots saved by Totem have the _correct_ sort of colouring.

I tried to illustrate by doing a "take screenshot" using Gnome but the video bit just comes out blue. So the best I could do was physically take a picture with my camera. I will attach the photo. The image on the left is saved with Totem's Edit -> Take Screenshot. The image on the right is how it appears when Totem is playing it.

This has been reported by multiple people - see forum thread at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1068056

By the way, that's my mate Yooch eating a very hot curry. He will be glad his image has been used to assist Ubuntu development. I think.
