LOST messages in the chat window, but present in empathy log

It happened several times from my msn connection (butterfly) that the other contact sends me a message and I don't receive it.
But if I open the empathy logs ("previous conversations" in the view menu) the message is present.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

we have been wondering if you still face this bug. can by any chance this was a one time problem. is this reproduceable? if so then what step should we take to reproduce it. an also if you dont face this any more let us know so that we can close this bug report.

I am seeing this issue

I was sent the following in a single message via MSN:

"can i borrow some chairs?"
"no, we wont get them back"
"errrrrrr, yeh you will"
"no i've played that game before we wont"
*stare*
"go find someone you know"
"hm"

The message appeared in the alert in the top right and the logs, but not the chat window. I have the latest packages in Lucid Lynx as of 10th April 2010
