Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

When i log in my screen is not aligned.Imagine it is a wide screen(19'') and when i login it auto aligns at 50 horizontal and 50 vertical which leaves me a space at the bottom of the screen. Now,when i full screen a window(ex firefox, nautilus etc)and then press the auto align button from the monitor,it changes from 50 horizontal 50 vertical to 50 horizontal 42 vertical which is the right one,and the space is gone.

Is the login screen aligned ok? If the resolution changes after you login, the misalignment is a "feature" of your monitor, and not a bug.

Yeah, this sounds like a quirky monitor. Feel free to open with more detailed information if you definitely know it's a ubuntu issue.
