Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth

Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala

gnome-bluetooth 2.28.1-0ubuntu2

When sending files to phone over OBEX push, the files arrive corrupted. This is true for both images and audio. The phone I am using is an LG Shine CU720, but I have seen reports like this for other phones. I have experienced this problem only in 9.10.

I also have this problem. I have nokia n70. After sending binary files from pc to my phone, the files become corrupted. But I didn't see this problem with other phones like nokia n73.

Have you tried using obexftp to send the file? If the file sends correctly using obexftp, but is corrupt when using the gnome bluetooth tool, then this might be a duplicate of bug 474397.

Changed in gnome-bluetooth (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

In that case, this is a duplicate of bug 474397.
