'ontop Ubuntu' installed control-centre does not work with Karmic-alternative

After Xubunbtu- 'Ontop Ubuntu'-installation when starting the v.0.22 CC there is no connetion to mySQL nor can it read the mySQL.txt. (file has read+ for group). MySQL seems to be just fine in the system.
Xubuntu 9.10 is an AMD64 alternative variant. (reason to use alternative sw is having raid disks on the mythtv/music).

Oh, yes you can. But you need to *know* in which order to go through the control centre menu items on the right.
For the first time use (= installation) it might be more logical to arrange the menu items to the order, from top to down, which correspondes order of required installation tasks.

This is because of the way the plugins are read off of the disk. Looking into it.

Marking invalid as this release isn't supported anymore. Can anyone confirm that this issue is still present on a supported Mythbuntu/MythTV release? If so, feel free to reopen.
