Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

When using wobbly windows effect moving a window causes whole screen to redraw. This is not a problem when using single monitor configuration. But when using two or more monitors it causes tearing. Because whole surface is being redrawn it's imposible to sync this to all monitors. Usually only on biggest monitor window can be moved without tearing (biggest part of redrawn area is covered by this monitor). I think that it should be possible to calculate some bounding box for this effect and redraw only that area. Or at least only area covered by monitor that contains that bounding box.

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.

Thanks!
